Buying our products

Buying our products could not be easier. Just browse our online shop, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept most debit and credit cards through our on-line secure payment via Paypal but if you prefer we continue to accept orders by telephone or email. To do this, email or telephone your order and let us know how you want to pay for your goods on delivery. We accept cash and cheques. 

In the unlikely event that any item is back ordered, you will be notified in advance and given the option to substitute or cancel and you will not be charged until goods are available.

TEASEL HOUSE OFFERS A FREE LOCAL DELIVERY SERVICE TO CUSTOMERS IN SHERBURN IN ELMET, SOUTH MILFORD, TADCASTER , GARFORTH AND SURROUNDING VILLAGES. FOR DELIVERIES OUTSIDE OF THESE AREAS OR IF YOU ARE UNSURE, PLEASE CONTACT US FOR DETAILS.

Please note that our free local delivery service is for orders of £5 and over. Orders below this amount will be subject to a £1 local delivery charge. This charge will be addd to your shopping basket.

 

Terms & Conditions

Making A Purchase

We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you confirmation. We have included this term to protect us in the case of orders placed from beyond our delivery zones or a mistake has been made in pricing, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason.

As part of our policy of continuous product development, all products, specifications and prices may be subject to change without notice. In
the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Delivery & Handling Charges

We offer FREE delivery on all orders £5.00 and over to a single delivery address within our local delivery zone of Sherburn in Elmet, South Milford, Tadcaster, Garforth and surrounding villages.

Order values below £5.00 will be subject to £1 local delivery charge.

Delivery Schedule

Orders received (Monday to Friday) will normally be delivered within 2 working days (except Bank Holidays). Although we do our utmost to fulfil this, there may be exceptional circumstances beyond our control when this is not possible and delivery may take longer. We will always inform you of any problems at the time of ordering.


Back Orders

In the unlikely event your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you. You will always be contacted with the option to cancel or change your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges

Prices shown in the on-line shop are applicable for mainland UK only and are inclusive of VAT at current applicable rate.

Returns Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied every time you shop with us. Occasionally though, we know that you might want to return an item.

Defective items

You can always return items if they are defective. Please note we only accept returns of opened items if they are defective. Please see below for details of how to return defective items to us. If you are returning an item because of an error on our part or because it is defective, we will be happy to refund any delivery charges incurred in sending the item to you and your costs in returning it to us.

If you wish to return an item please call and inform us on 01977 683009. Our returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Cancelling an item

Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any item within 7 working days, beginning the day after the delivery date. If you decide to cancel, please call and inform us on 01977 683009. Please return the goods to us unopened and in their original condition. This applies to all our products. However, we regret that we cannot accept cancellations of contracts for items where the packaging has been opened. Again, please call us to discuss the matter. To cancel your contract, return the item to us with any delivery paperwork you have and a note confirming that you wish to cancel, and stating your contact details. The return address is Teasel House Wildlife Products (Returns), 12 Low Garth Road, Sherburn in Elmet, North Yorkshire, LS25 6DH.

Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty. If we arrange for the items to be collected we will deduct the cost of doing so from the amount refunded. As soon as we receive
notice of your cancellation of this order, we will refund the purchase price for that item within 30 days.

30-Day Total Satisfaction Guarantee

Our 'No Quibble' total satisfaction guarantee means that if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase you can call us within 30 days to arrange a return; we will then replace or issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item.

In addition to any manufacturer's guarantees we automatically give you 12 months cover on all the accessories we supply (excludes books, guides, multimedia and perishables). If any item develops a fault or stops working we will replace it, or send spare parts free of charge (excludes delivery). This extended free warranty only covers the original fault and does not extend to any indirect costs.

We recommend perishable goods such as food and attractants be used as soon as possible for best results.

This guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights and does not detract or replace them. 

Privacy

Teasel House Wildlife Products does not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party. Data collected by this site is used to:

a. Take and fulfil customer orders

b. Administer and enhance the site and service

c. Send you catalogues, emails and special offers

d. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes where applicable
